Ms. Ji, along with her colleagues, will organize a Chinese Spring Festival Celebration Event for Naselle-Grays River Valley School’s Mandarin Immersion Program. The celebration looks to generate even greater interest in the program from students and parents. During the event, guests will try Chinese arts, traditional performances, eat authentic Chinese food and take part in additional cultural activities. As part of the project, Ms. Ji will coordinate activities in her Mandarin club, where students will learn about Chinese culture, art and language; parents and community members will also be able to sign up for cooking classes.
