What students should be able to do as an outcome of the lesson?
• Students will learn months of the year in the target language put them in order and assign them to the correct season.
• Say their birthdates (day- month – year) and the season later.
• Say the names of the four seasons in Arabic
• Assign the months of each season.
• Describe the weather in each season using adjectives such as (hot=حار, cold=بارد, warm= دافئ, nice لطيف , beautiful جميل)
• Talk about the temperatures ( high – low) حراره مرتفعه – حراره منخفضه

1. Students will know how to speak six countries' names in Chinese: zhong guo (China), mei guo (the U.S.), ying guo ( the U.K.), ri ben (Japan), jia na da (Canada), mo xi ge (Mexico)
2. Ask and answer about nationalities "ni shi a guo ren?" (What’s your nationality?) "wo shi ...。"(I am ....)
3. To ask and answer about others’ nationalities by using “ta shi a guo ren?” (What’s his/her nationality?) “ta shi…” (she/he is…)
4. To know “he and she” in Chinese, they have the same pronunciation, but Chinese characters are different.

Present Tense Verbs and Senses

After explaining this grammatical point, students were asked to participate in pair work and make as many sentences as they can orally.
After they became confident about the conjugation of the verbs in the present and different forms with different subjects, They had a table to write the verb in its correct position and to write the other forms as well.

Unit Test

Language Level

This test is based on Unit 5, Arabic II, Second semester.
It covers the four language skills. There is another listening and speaking portion, but it was done after the test in pairs, and each pair had the right to speak about any topic they want for 2 or 3 minutes.

2.Students will be able to recognize and write the right pinyin about the 12 words about jobs.
3.Students will be able to make short dialogues with the sentence patterns, using the words to ask somebody about his job.
