Fruit in Arabic
Standards and objectives:
Communications: SWBAT say what fruit they like and don't like.
Cultures: Students will compare fruit in the Arab world and in the U.S.
Communities: Students will visit an Arabic store nearby and get some Arabic foods.
By the end of this lesson students will be able to:
- Name eight fruit words in Arabic (Bananas, pineapple, apples, pear, berries, apricot, oranges, grapes)
- Express preference by practicing the names of the eight fruit using "like" and "don't like".
- Ask “What fruit do you like?”
