Moulay Tahar Kettani (Maple Street Magnet School for the Arts, MI) guides students in making and using a Q-Wheel to support students in writing and pronouncing Arabic letters. They also used the Q-Wheel to write their and their family's English names in Arabic.

Chang Jen-Yin (OB Gates Elementary, VA) celebrated Thanksgiving with her students by doing crafts, creating a Thanksgiving “Thank you” video for parents, and leading a matching game focused on themed vocabulary in Mandarin.

Ola Sofi (West Sylvan Middle School, OR) facilitates a letter learning exercise with seventh and eighth grade that challenges students to listen to a letter and make the shape of it using paper dots and then read Arabic words with two to three letters.

Lin Wan-Lin (Butler Academy, SC) leads fourth graders in a review lesson on body and face vocabulary by having students read pinyin and characters, match characters with pictures, and practice on individual worksheets.
