This month our topic is numbers. We first learn how to count numbers from 1-10 in Chinese with a song with exciting music. Then we use fingers to show and sing the counting songs. After two hours' learning, some kids can give me the right numbers of the fruit when they hear the number in Chinese. I try to combine numbers with fruits and colors together so that they can learn something new at the same time, they won't forget something we learnt easily. This month inclides an important festival --Chrismas so we have some information about Chinese New Year's Day. We learn to make a Chinese lantern, say it in Chinese and take one made by kids home to decorate their chrismas tree. We also make full use of this activity to review colors and numbers.
