Yonghui Wang
Bio
Yonghui Wang is originally from Fujian, China. She received her bachelor's degree in the Interdisciplinary Studies from University of Houston and her master's degree in TESOL/ESL from University of Houston at Victoria. She is currently a bilingual teacher at Mandarin Immersion Magnet School of Houston ISD, a position she has held since 2012. She also serves as the Campus Induction Coordinator supporting new teachers' instructional design and professional development. She became a teacher to help unlock learning mysteries for children. She has now been teaching for 18 years; eight years at the middle school level and ten years at the high school level. Outside of the classroom, she enjoys traveling, hiking, cycling, swimming, gardening, and spending time with her family and friends. Ms. Wang will be the mentor teacher to Wu Yi-Ting from Chiayi City, Taiwan.
