Even after TCLP, alumni continue to participate in the TCLP vision and mission.

This year TCLP alumni facilitated events, attended professional development, and earned additional teaching certificates in a variety of ways.

On August 22, 2023, TCLP alumnus Anas El Nahriri, hosted at J.W. Reason Elementary School in Hilliard, OH, from 2017-2018, participated as a training facilitator during the "Cascading New Knowledge" workshop in Cairo, Egypt. This event was sponsored by the Regional English Language Office (RELO) Cairo, which supports U.S. public diplomacy efforts to enhance mutual understanding, through English, between the people of this region and the United States.

TCLP alumnus Mahmoud Dahroug, hosted at Irving Elementary School in Bozeman, Montana from 2018-2019, recently gave a presentation on Content and Language-Integrated Learning (CLIL) methodology at the Dubai National School Al-Twar located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates during a three-day professional development event.  The goal of the presentation was to address potential barriers faced by teachers who employ CLIL methodology when using English language terminology and concepts that may be unfamiliar to the student. Mr. Dahroug presented how to effectively use eight different CLIL techniques to engage students in unfamiliar material, including repetition, gesturing, and using visual aids. Mr. Dahroug’s presentation received unanimously positive feedback from the nine teachers and two school administrators he presented to.
