Listen and use different aspect of the language “ Ammeah” and how is it differ from “Fosha” “ Standard Arabic” 3. Feel the rhythm and the harmony of the Arabic music. 4. Sing along following the melody and the music.

Brain storming for fruit and vegetables. Learn to say out some popular fruit and vegetables in daily life Practice related dialogues about fruit and vegetables. Make a vegetarian menu for yourself. Students will draw the pics of the fruit and vegetables on the plate and color them, try to use Characters or pinyin.(or they will make a booklet of those food)

After the class, the students can 1. read out, spell out and write down pinyin of the 12 animals in Chinese zodiac correctly and fluently; 2. 1.The students can say the body parts including head, eyes, nose, mouth, ears, shoulder, back, stomach, hand, foot, arms and legs and also the instructive verb “touch”, “move” and “pat”; 2. The students can give instructions to each other in pairs like “touch your head” or “move your shoulder”; 3. The students can apply body parts vocabulary to sentence patterns like “I have brown eyes” and “The panda has black eyes and white head.”

Chinese festivals are the opportunities to introduce Chinese history, customs,art,music and special food to the teachers and students. They are very interested in them. In this lesson, by watching PPT about the Spring Festival, students got general ideas about the festival and became excited and eager to learn words and sentences related to it. Paper cutting is new and fun to them. Writing thank you cards to teachers both in English and Chinese is a good way to practice writing Chinese as well as to express their thanks.Singing is also very effective in language learning.

SWBAT - form complete sentences in the present tense about actions he/she, and others do or currently doing using verbs like (يقابل – يذهب – يسافر – يلون – يردد - يتكلم – يأكل – يشرب- يسافر -) and the 3 main subject pronouns: (أنا – أنتَ - هو) in order to talk about him/her and other different characters in the current GRASPS.

My kids are interested in paper folding and paper cutting , so I teach them how to make Chinese Zodiac in paper folding,paper cutting as well as shadow puppet to drive them to learn Chinese characters , pinyin and share Chinese legends and stories about Zodiac. I also had a chance to manage to show my kids' works on the bulletin on the hall way, which attracted many other kids and teachers as well. We also play games and competitions to enforce learning.And my kids knew more about Chinese culture and show their knowledge to their parents and their friends in proud.

Learn some Chinese lucky idioms for the Spring Festival. Students are going to make a paper cutting of double fish. Practice using chopsticks by a dish of peanuts ( make sure no one in class is allergic to peanuts before all the students get started with eating).
