Zhengyang Yu
Bio
Zhengyang Yu is originally from Dalian, Liaoning, China. She received her master's degree in Language Education from Rutgers University. She is currently a mandarin teacher at Butler Academy, a position she has held since 2023. She is also an ESL teacher, having taught and supervised clubs at a public school in New Jersey. She became a teacher to help people become more aware and better informed of different cultures and has now been teaching for ten years. She has experience in teaching different grades from K-12. Outside of the classroom, she has previously organized a school exchange program! Ms. Yu will be the mentor teacher to Yuan Zhen from Yuci, China.
