Zeng Xiaolian
Bio
Zeng Xiaolian is from Nanchang, Jiangxi, China. She received her bachelor's degree in English Language Education from Jiangxi Normal University. She has been a leader teacher of English group and class headteacher at Honggutan Newly District Experimental School since 2007. She enjoys badminton, swimming, mountain climbing, and watching movies. During her year in the United States, Ms. Zeng is looking forward to experiencing the local lifestyle, making some new friends, sharing her cultural holidays with students, and learning about her students. Her primary objective for participating in TCLP is to experience the American lifestyle and to bring Chinese culture to Americans so that people in both countries can better understand each other. Ms. Zeng was hosted by Beethoven Secondary School in Edinburg, TX.
