Xue Gao
Bio
Xue Gao, originally from Beijing, China, began teaching in 2010 at an International School in Beijing. She received a master’s degree in teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages. In 2012, she moved to North Carolina, and has taught Chinese to K-7 students in Wake County Public Schools for four years. In 2016, she moved to Minnesota to teach at a Chinese immersion school and moved back to Charlotte in 2018 to teach at East Voyager Academy. Currently, Ms. Gao teaches Kindergarten and 1st grade students. Outside of the classroom, she lives in Charlotte with her husband and two boys, and enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time outdoors with friends and family. Ms. Gao will be the mentor teacher to Wang Yihui from Yueyang, China.
