Piper Walker
Bio
Piper is originally from Paradise, California. She received her bachelor’s degree in Liberal Studies: Elementary Education from Concordia University Irvine where she graduated with honors. She has received both a Multiple Subject credential and a Single Subject Science credential. She is currently a 7th grade Math and Science teacher at Vista Heritage Global Academy in Santa Ana, California. Piper has worked at Vista Heritage since 2017 as a middle school Math and Science teacher. In addition to teaching, Piper is—an induction mentor to new teachers, secretary of Heritage's School Site Council, on the instructional leadership team, and leader of the School Culture Committee. Piper has now been teaching for 6 years. She became a teacher because she loves working with students and she passionately believes that every student can learn. Ms. Walker will be the mentor teacher to Chiang Wei-Shin from New Taipei City, Taiwan.
