Moulay Tahar Kettani

Bio
Moulay Tahar Kettani is from Marrakech, Morocco. He received his master's degree in linguistics and advanced English studies from the Faculty of Letters and Humanities, Cadi Ayad University, and is currently a first-year doctoral student. Mr. Kettani has been an EFL teacher at the Moroccan Ministry of Education since 2010, teaching regular classes and tutoring second-year Baccalaureate students. He has also been teaching English communicatively at the Center for Language and Culture in Marrakech since 2015. Mr. Kettani enjoys motorbike riding, weightlifting, and watching movies. During his year in the United States, he is looking forward to enjoying the American experience, discovering local cultures, and taking pictures. He would also love to share his native culture with his host community. His primary objective for participating in the Teachers of Critical Languages Program is to hone his teaching skills, share, and learn from fellow teachers about new methods and activities. Mr. Kettani was hosted by Maple Street Magnet School for the Arts in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
