Laura Gilland
Bio
Laura Gilland is from Osgood, Indiana, USA. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Visual Arts Education from Indiana University and her Master’s Degree in Art of Education from Morningside College. She has been teaching visual arts since 2009 and is currently the Art Teacher at Batesville Primary School in Batesville, Indiana. Her purpose as an art educator is for students to have a greater understanding of the world around them through creating, problem solving, and studying other cultures. Ms. Gilland was the mentor teacher to Wang Zhenglin from Chengdu, China.
