Larbi Hachard
Bio
Larbi Hachard is from Oujda, Morocco and received his master’s degree in ecopedagogy and environmental education from Mohammed First University, Oujda, Morocco. He has been a teacher at Sidi Mohammed Ben Abderahman Middle School since 2013. In addition, he is the school coordinator of extracurricular clubs and a part-time English business teacher at the Specialized Institute of Applied Technology in Ahfir City. During his 19 years of teaching, he has had the chance to teach English in a variety of different settings. Outside of teaching he enjoys package tours, hiking in mountainous regions and learning about culinary herbs. During his year in the United States, he is looking forward to appropriately representing his culture and discovering more about American cuisine and traditions. His primary objectives for participating in the Teachers of Critical Languages Program are advancing his career prospects and sharing the knowledge he acquires from his host school and community upon returning to Morocco. Mr. Hachard will be hosted by Advanced Learning Academy in San Antonio, TX.
