Kimberly Winfield

Bio
Kimberly Winfield is originally from Smithtown, NY and now lives in Glastonbury, CT. She received her degree in Spanish and International Studies with a focus on Latin American and Caribbean Studies from Fairfield University in 2012. In 2017, she received her Master's in Curriculum and Instruction in Bilingual/Mutlicultural Education from the University of Connecticut. She taught Spanish for seven years at Great Path Academy in Manchester, CT. She is currently a World Language Instructional Coach for Hartford Public Schools, a position she has held since August of 2019. In that role she supports teachers and helps coordinate the district's Seal of Biliteracy program. She became a teacher because she is from a family of educators and loves to share her passion for learning foreign languages and cultures and instill that passion in her students. Ms. Winfield is the mentor teacher to Said Bouaddi from Ait Melloul, Morocco.
