Bio
Kimarya Carter-Martin was born in Frankfurt, West Germany. She received her bachelor's degree in communications from Alabama State University and received her master's degree in education with a concentration in educational leadership from Florida Atlantic University. She is currently the Literacy Coach at Plantation Middle School, a position she has held since 2019. Ms. Carter-Martin has various educational leadership roles such as Title I Liaison, School Advisory Council Chair, Mentor Coach, Field Trip Coordinator, Human Relations Council, and a Professional Learning Community Facilitator. She became a teacher to share her love for reading with students and has been an educator for 24 years. Ms. Carter-Martin is the mentor teacher to Heba Ismael from Zagazig, Egypt.
