Main Profile for Jessica Duggan

Jessica is originally from Eugene, Oregon. She received a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies from the University of Oregon and her master’s degree in Teaching from Pacific University. She is currently an English teacher at the German International School, working with both the German and Mandarin tracks, a position she has held since 2015. She is also the co-chair of the school's Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion committee, coordinator for Oregon Battle of the Books reading competition for 3rd-5th graders and has enjoyed being a mentor teacher in the past. She became a teacher because she loved working with kids; her favorite part of teaching is the dynamic nature of the job and how it changes day to day, keeping her on her toes! She has been teaching for 11 years. Ms. Duggan will be the mentor teacher to Cheng Yu-Chen from Pingtung City, Taiwan.
