Jennifer Lossing

Bio
Jennifer Beaumont Lossing is originally from Homestead, Florida but grew up in Savannah, Georgia. She received her bachelor's degree in early childhood education, her master's degree in reading, her specialist's degree in education and reading, and her doctorate degree in education in curriculum studies with an emphasis in literacy from Georgia Southern University in Savannah, Georgia. Dr. Lossing is currently a Gifted teacher in Chatham County, a position she has held since 2021. She has worked with all elementary grades K-5 and has also worked as a Spelling Bee Coordinator, Beta Club Advisor, Quiz Bowl Advisor, Student Council Advisor, United Way Campaign Liaison, Chess Club Coordinator, and Girls Who Code Coordinator. She has now been teaching in Chatham County for 29 years. Dr. Lossing is the mentor teacher to Chang Ying-yi from Taoyuan City, Taiwan.
