Hossam Ahmed
Bio
Hossam Ahmed is from El Haram, Egypt and obtained a master’s degree in curricula and teaching methods and a bachelor’s degree in literature and education from Helwan University. He has been a Lecturer of Arabic as a Foreign Language at the French Cultural Institute since September 2021. In addition, he works as an author of Arabic language curricula at Rawia Arabia. Outside of teaching he enjoys listening to music and riding horses. In fact, he owns an Arabian horse in Giza and usually rides every Friday. During his year in the United States, he enjoyed many things, such as spending Christmas in a traditional American atmosphere and attending Thanksgiving with an American family. His primary objective for participating in the Teachers of Critical Languages Program is to learn more about American teaching methods and strategies that could be used upon his return to Egypt. For the 2023-2024 academic year, Mr. Ahmed was hosted by STEP Academy Charter School in Saint Paul, MN.
