Wynter Rose
Bio
Wynter Rose is originally from Chicago, IL. She received her bachelor’s degree in elementary education from DePaul University, her master's degree in library science from Chicago State University, and a doctorate in instructional technology from Northern Illinois University. Dr. Rose is currently the technology teacher at West Park Academy, a position she has held for 23 years. She also serves as the STEAM education specialist and will be coordinating STEAM activities during the next school year. Dr. Rose became a teacher to continue her love of learning and share that love of learning with others. She has been a teacher for 26 years. She is also involved with many schoolwide activities and committees such as the Local School Council, the Student Council, and the Instructional Leadership Team. She serves as an instructional technology coach for teachers and shares her technology expertise with others. She was also the librarian for 19 years. Dr. Rose was the mentor teacher to Zhang Wenyu from Chengdu, China.
