Joseph Hamd
Bio
Joseph Hamd is originally from Lebanon. He received his bachelors degree from St. John’s College and has been working as an Arabic instructor at Washington Latin Public Charter School since 2016. As a Lebanese-American, he enjoys teaching students about his native language and culture. As of 2019, he teaches five sections of Arabic ranging from Arabic I to Arabic V. He has also led student trips to Morocco and especially appreciates the role he plays as a mentor to students in his advisory class. He was the mentor teacher to Tamer Genedy from Damanhour, Egypt (2019-2020).
