Huang Can
Bio
Huang Can is from Fuzhou, China and received her bachelor and master's degrees in English from Fujian Normal University. She has been an English teacher at Fuzhou No.1 High School for nearly ten years. She has been the head of Students' Union and was awarded the “Excellent Head of Students' Union” in Fujian. She is also an English grade group leader and a head teacher. She enjoys sports, watching movies, and traveling. She has a husband and a four-year-old child. During her year in the U.S., Ms. Huang looked forward to celebrating American festivals, attending community activities, watching popular games, having field trips, and sharing cultural holidays with her students and colleagues. Her primary objective for participating in TCLP was to share cultures with her students. She was hosted by Plantation Middle School in Plantation, FL and is the alumni buddy for Lin Wan-Lin. For the 2023-2024 academic year, Huang Can will serve as an Alumni Buddy for exchange teachers Luo Qiumei and Wang Yihui.
