Liang Min

Bio
Liang Min is from Mianyang City, China and received her bachelor's degree in English Language from Leshan Normal University. She has been an English teacher at Mianyang High School since 2009. She participated in the National English Teachers' Teaching Skills contest twice and won first place in 2006 and second place in 2010. In 2017, she was selected by her school as one of the "Backbone Teachers" and attended summer classes in the top universities in China for professional development. She enjoys swimming and playing table tennis. She has a husband and two young kids. During her year in the U.S., Ms.Liang looked forward to celebrating Thanksgiving, Halloween, and sharing her cultural holidays with her students at her host school. Her primary objectives for participating in TCLP were to help promote the acquisition of Chinese among the students in her host school, deepen their understanding of Chinese culture, and help build a sister-school relationship between her school and host school. She was hosted by Western High School in Davie, FL.
