Kim Cash

Bio
Originally from Glendale, Arizona, Ms. Cash received her Undergraduate Degree in Early Childhood Education from Arizona State University. She received her masters degree in Early Childhood Education from Northern Arizona University. She also holds a Reading Specialist and Structured English Language Endorsement. As well as teaching kindergarten, Ms. Cash is a Reading Specialist for kindergarten through third grade. She is also a member of the Mandarin Project staff. Ms.Cash began teaching to make a positive difference in the lives of children, and has taught a total of 19 years. She visited China in 2010 to visit sister schools with a delegation from her school district. She has also traveled to parts of Mexico for family camping/vacation with her husband and two children. She enjoys reading and watching professional basketball. She has received numerous awards including: Deer Valley Teacher of the Year, nominee for Arizona Teacher of the Year, Pioneer of the first Mandarin Chinese program in kindergarten, at the Gavilan Peak Rock Awards.

Ms. Cash was the mentor teacher for Fu Jing from Nanchang, China in 2011-2012. She was previously the mentor teacher for Gao Jinghua from Beijing, China in 2010-2011 academic year.
