Amany Malek
Bio
Amany Malek is from Mansoura City, Egypt and received her bachelor's degree in English language teaching from the Faculty of Education at Mansoura University. She has two diplomas in teaching English from the same university. She has been a teacher of English at Kamel Burhan Elweshy Preparatory school since 2016. She has conducted several class contests and was the head of the English society within the school. She comes from a small family with one older brother and enjoys crocheting, gardening, and reading. During her year in the U.S., Ms.Malek looked forward to experiencing different American celebrations, such as Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Halloween, sharing her cultural holidays with her students, attending an American football game, and learning how to play baseball. Her primary objective for participating in TCLP was to obtain firsthand experience of U.S. teaching methodologies, culture, and society. She was hosted by Leicester Middle School in Leicester, MA.
