Sharon Hsu

Bio
Sharon Hsu is originally from Taipei, Taiwan. She received her bachelor's degree from the National Taiwan University of Art and moved to the United States to earn her master's degree in communication and multimedia from Saginaw Valley State University. She is currently a Chinese teacher at Mesita Elementary, a position she has held since 2016. She has been a coach for the Mesita Global Ambassadors and dance team. She has also provided professional development sessions for the languages other then English (LOTE) teachers in the El Paso Independent School District over the past two years. She became a language teacher to help students gain new perspectives, build skills for the future, and provide educational experiences that expose them to new world knowledge. As of 2019, she has been teaching for six years. She was the mentor teacher to Liang Yan from Nanchang, China (2019-2020) and Liu Lina from Shijiazhuang, China (2021-2022).
