Elizabeth Foley

Bio
Liz Foley is originally from McLean, Virginia. She now lives in University Park, Maryland with her husband, who is also a teacher. She received her bachelor's degree, with a major in English and a minor in classics, from Georgetown University, and her master's degree in secondary education from American University. She is currently the Senior Instructional Coach at Washington Latin Public Charter School, a position she has held since 2017. She served as the summer school principal in 2019, and she teaches English 11, Advanced Placement (AP) Language & Composition, and Geometry. She became a teacher because she loves to learn, and she has been teaching for 11 years. She was the mentor teacher to Tamer Genedy from Damanhour, Egypt (2019-2020).
