Paula Gerencer
Bio
Paula Gerencer was born in Connecticut and moved to Boothbay Harbor, Maine when she was seven years old. She earned a bachelor’s degree in French and spent nine months in France after college, working as an au pair, before beginning to teach. She has earned a master's degree and is certified to teach French and Spanish grades 7-12. She has been a teacher at Lewiston High School for 29 years. Ms. Gerencer was the mentor teacher to Sabrin Abdelgawwad from Al-Delengat, Egypt (2018-2019).
