Rafael Jimenez

Bio
Rafael Jimenez is originally from Jalisco, Mexico, but has lived in Chicago for 15 years. He received his master's degree in bilingual education from Concordia University and holds endorsements from the state of Illinois in ESL, bilingual education, and social sciences for grades K-9. Mr. Jimenez is currently the Resident Principal at Moos Elementary, a position he has held since this year. Prior to this position he was the dual language coordinator and served in various teaching positions over the past six years. Mr. Jimenez has a great deal of experience mentoring teachers to improve practices and increase student achievement. He believes strongly in the potential of each student. Mr. Jimenez was the mentor teacher for Chen Ken from Chengdu, China (2018-2019).
