Halle Quezada

Bio
Halle Quezada is originally from Cleveland, Ohio. She received her bachelor's degree in cognitive neuroscience from Rice University, her master's degree in teaching from Dominican University, and her Montessori training from the Midwest Montessori Teacher Training Center. She is currently an upper elementary Montessori teacher at Suder Montessori, a position she has held since 2015. She has worked with Chicago Public School District's department of math and science to contribute to the development of the district-wide science content framework, and has presented work on Montessori practices in a traditional science classroom at multiple national conferences. She became a teacher to provide high-quality access to education for students in under-served populations in Chicago, and she has now been teaching for eight years. Ms. Quezada was the mentor teacher for Guo Jin from Deyang, China (2018-2019).
