Jennifer Bhoorasingh

Bio
Jennifer Bhoorasingh is originally from Calipatrica, California. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Liberals Studies with an emphasis on Spanish at San Diego State University, and then went on to receive her Masters in Education at National University and a Masters in Leadership and Change at the Fielding Graduate University. She has been teaching for over 9 years and is currently an English Language Support Teacher at Carver K-8 School where she is also an Administrator Designee, and a member of the Instructional Leadership Team, Positive Behavior Support Committee, English Learner Advisory Committee, and a test coordinator. She has participated in a summer exchange program in China for teaching English learners, and one of her favorite aspects of her job is working with students, parents, and other educators. She enjoys reading and cycling daily, and traveling in her spare time.

She was the mentor teacher for Samy Hendawy during the 2010-2011 academic year.
