Erin Grant

Bio
Erin Grant is originally from Higganum, CT. She received her bachelor’s degree in Spanish from Saint Anselm College and her master’s degree in TESOL from Regent University. She is currently a Spanish teacher at East Hartford High School, a position she has held since 2011. She is also the Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS) committee head, a certified TEAM mentor, a member of the Connections Council, a member of the School Wide Data Team, and a member of the District Equity and Diversity Committee. She became a teacher to positively impact students’ lives, to promote the ability for bilingual communication, and to increase cultural awareness. She has been teaching for 13 years. She was the mentor teacher to Yang Huihui from Tongling, China (2018-2019) and Xin Fangzheng from Dezhou, China (2019-2020).
