Sabrin Abdelgawwad

Bio
Sabrin Abdelgawwad is originally from Al-Beheira, Egypt and lived in Alexandria (the second Capital of Egypt) most of the time. She received her license of arts and education in teaching English from the Faculty of Education at Alexandria University. She also holds a vocational diploma in education from Tanta University and a TESOL certificate. She is certified by the RELO and NileTESOL as a mentor and trainer, has a university degree in digital marketing. She is,also, a certified Microsoft creative educator (TWT). She started teaching in 2011, and, in addition to her current position as an English teacher at Bani Al-Delengat Formal Language School, she is also a trainer at the Exploration Center of Science and Technology. Ms. Abdelgawwad enjoys reading, gardening, traveling & voluntary. She is newly married and lives in Sheikh Zayed City-Cairo. By participating in TCLP, Ms. Abdelgawwad hoped to learn as much as she ccould about the American educational system, so she could apply what she learns in the classroom. She was also looking forward to participating in a variety of activities, festivals, and events during her year in the US and sharing cultural activities with her students. She was hosted by Lewiston High School in Lewiston, ME.
