Wu Yan
Bio
Wu Yan is originally from Luoyang, China. She received her bachelor’s degree in English from Henan Polytechnic University. She has been an English teacher at Luoyang No. 2 Foreign Language School since 2008. She is married and has one child. Ms. Wu’s primary objectives for participating in TCLP are improving her English and deepening her understanding of the United States. She also looks forward to learning new teaching methodologies, building a positive relationship between her home school and host school, and sharing her culture with her American students. She was hosted by Andasol Elementary School in Northridge, CA and was the alumni buddy to Chen Ken for the 2018-2019 year.
