Lao Xiaojing
Bio
Lao Xiaojing is originally from Guangzhou, China. She received her bachelor’s degree in English education from South China Normal University. She has been an English teacher at Guangzhou No. 2 High School since 2006. She was named one of the Top Ten Excellent High School English Teachers in Guangzhou City and won first prize in the High School English Teachers' Teaching Competition. Ms. Lao’s primary objectives for participating in TCLP are to learn more about American teaching methodologies and culture, and also to improve her English proficiency. She would also like to share Chinese culture with her American students. She was hosted by Joseph Jenks Middle School in Pawtucket, RI and is the alumni buddy for Wang Ling.
