Zhu Xiaohong
Bio
Zhu Xiaohong is originally from Liaoning, China. She received her bachelor’s degree in English from Harbin Institute of Technology. She has been an English teacher at Harbin Sixth High School since 2004. She has won top awards in several teaching and lesson planning competitions. Ms. Zhu’s primary objectives for participating in TCLP are to teach Mandarin and share Chinese culture with students in the United States, to learn new teaching methodologies, and to increase her understanding of American culture. She also hopes to establish lasting ties between her home school and host school. She was hosted by Bodine High School for International Affairs in Philadelphia, PA and was an alumni buddy to Zou Feili for the 2018-2019 year and to Wang Xiaoyue for 2019-2020.
