Kelley Southwick
Bio
Kelley O'Loughlin Southwick is originally from Clinton, Massachusetts. She attended the College of the Holy Cross where she studied languages and received her bachelor’s degree in French. She went on to receive two master’s degrees from Worcester State College, in educational leadership and secondary education. She currently is the lead teacher of foreign languages for Leicester Public Schools and is teaching French at Leicester High School. Outside of the classroom, Kelley coaches girls’ varsity tennis and is the president of the Education Association of Leicester. She has been teaching for more than 25 years and frequently travels with her student to Canada and Europe. Ms. Southwick was the mentor teacher to Yasser Hassan from Damietta, Egypt (2017-2018) and Bouchra Ait Msguine from Casablanca, Morocco (2018-2019).
