Bio
Rebecca Manchester is originally from Mechanic Falls, Maine. She received her bachelor’s degree in history from Saint Joseph's College, and minored in both English and Latin. She is currently a Latin teacher at Bonny Eagle High School, a position she has held since 2004. She is the department leader of world languages at Bonny Eagle High School, a position she has held since 2011. She became a teacher to help instill a passion for learning and to help students to understand that they are part of a bigger picture. As of 2018, she has been teaching for 14 years. Ms. Manchester was the mentor teacher to Ji Wenhua from Shijiazhuang, China (2017-2018) and Li Jing from Jianyang, China (2018-2019).
