Miguel Salinas

Bio
Miguel Salinas is originally from Saginaw, Michigan. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Spanish in secondary education from Grand Valley State University and a master’s degree in Spanish literature from Saint Louis University - Madrid, Spain. Mr. Salinas is currently the world language head, a master teacher, and an AP Spanish teacher at Battle Mountain High School, where he has taught since 2013. He is also the head of the Seal of Biliteracy, and has taught ESL programs after school. Mr. Salinas became a teacher to positively change the lives of students and has been a teacher for 14 years. He was the mentor teacher for Liu Xiaozhu from Anshan, China.
