Paul Aguirre

Bio
Paul Aguirre is originally from Lima, Peru. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Spanish and secondary education from William Paterson University and a master’s degree in teaching and learning the Spanish language and its culture from University of Granada, Spain. Currently, Mr. Aguirre is pursuing his second master’s degree in educational technology from Ramapo College. He is the 8th grade Spanish teacher at Tenakill Middle School, a position he has held since 2012. He also runs the “Kids Helping Kids” Club and supervises track. Mr. Aguirre is the former coach of the girl’s volleyball team, which became for the first time champions in 2014. He wanted to be a teacher because of his personal understanding of the challenges of learning a language and adapting to a new culture. Mr. Aguirre has been a teacher for 9 years. He was the mentor teacher to Duan Xuewen (Vivian) from Zibo, China.
