Cheng Li
Bio
Cheng Li (Amy) is originally from Chengdu, China. She holds a bachelor’s degree in English teaching from Southwest Normal University. She has been an English teacher and research group leader in Chengdu No. 7 Middle School since 2012. Before that, Ms. Cheng taught in a private foreign language school as an English teacher for 11 years. She is also an English expert at Chengdu No. 7 Bayi School, has compiled school-based teaching materials for Junior Three students, and is responsible for training young teachers for private schools. Ms. Cheng enjoys reading, acting, and travelling, and has a husband and a six-year-old daughter. Her primary objective for participating in TCLP is to learn more about the US including its culture, society, and teaching methodologies, especially “Flipped Classrooms." She is delighted to share ancient Chinese culture with others. Ms. Cheng was hosted by Buxton Center Elementary School in Buxton, Maine.
