Yahya Ismael

Bio
Yahya Youssif Hussein Ismael is originally from Tuna El Gabal, a village and archaeological site in El Minya, Egypt. He holds a bachelor’s degree from the English Department of El Minya University and a master’s degree in TESOL from Edinburgh University, Scotland. Mr. Ismael has been a senior teacher of English at Tuna El Gabal Prep School since 2005 as well as a delegated supervisor in the Mallawi educational zone. He is also the head of the training department at his school and a part time trainer of English language at a professional academy for teachers. He participated in English for STEM Preparatory Extra Curricular Online Learning Activity Program workshops. He enjoys reading, watching TV, and traveling, and is married and has 5 children. Mr. Ismael’s primary objective for participating in TCLP is to help American and Egyptian students increase mutual understanding through educational and cultural exchange. He was hosted by Lewiston High School in Lewiston, Maine. He is the 2016-2017 Cohort Leader.
