Tan Jin

Bio
Tan Jin is from Chengdu, China. She received her bachelor of arts degree in English Education from Southwest University. She has been an English teacher at Chengdu Longjiang Road Primary School since 2010. She also works as a group leader of English teaching and research at her school. Ms. Tan planned and organized many school activities, including a summer camp and a Chinese temple fair. She is very active in her school community and has received many city and district level awards. She enjoys reading, traveling, and cooking. Her primary objective for participating in TCLP is to develop her teaching theories and methods, to enrich her cross-cultural working and living experience, and to help U.S. and Chinese schools establish a long-term cooperative relationship. Ms. Tan was hosted by Naselle-Grays River School in Naselle, Washington. She was an alumni buddy to Shi Cuilian for the 2016-2017 year, to Li Jing for the 2017-2018 year, and to Huang Lijun for 2019-2020.
