Tamer Nehmedo Elsharkawy

Bio
Tamer Elsharkawy is from Benha, Egypt. He received his diploma in Educational Leadership from American University in Cairo, an advanced diploma in Professional Teaching from Northumbria University, Newcastle, England, and a special diploma in Comparative Education and Educational Administration. He also holds a professional diploma in Special Education from Benha University Egypt. He has been an English teacher since 2003. Mr. Elsharkawy also works as an external reviewer at Egypt's National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education. He enjoys managing a website for EFL learners in Egypt. He is married and has three children. He aims to help U.S. students learn about Arab culture during his participation in TCLP. Mr. Elsharkawy was hosted by H.D. Cooke Elementary in Washington, District of Columbia. Mr. Elsharkawy was an alumni buddy for the 2016-2017 year.
