Main Profile for Jia Lili

Jia Lili is from Hebei Province. She received her bachelor's degree in English and her master's degree in Teaching Pedagogy from Hebei Normal University. She has been an English teacher at No. 1 Middle School since 2005 and a head teacher since 2008. Ms. Jia also works as a leader at the Translation Association in Shijiazhuang. She once organized a calligraphy competition in her school. She enjoys singing, paper cutting, and cycling. Her primary objective for participating in TCLP is to learn more about teaching methodologies in the U.S. and to help American students learn more about China. Ms. Jia was hosted by Walnut Elementary School in Walnut, California. Ms. Jia is the TCLP Alumni Cohort Leader for the China 2015-2016 group. She was an alumni buddy to Huang Yongqian for 2016-2017, Jiang Yajuan for 2017-2018, and Gu Lin for 2019-2020.
