Kristen Vollmer
Bio
Ms. Vollmar graduated from the University of West Florida with a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education. She started teaching middle school language arts after college. During her teaching career, she has earned a Master of Arts in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in literacy from University of Colorado at Denver, an Endorsement in Linguistically Diverse Education from Regis University, and an Administration K-12 degree from the University of Denver. She taught language arts, math, social studies and reading in grades sixth through eighth for eight years before becoming a student achievement coach and an International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme coordinator for two years. In her free time she enjoys playing with her six year old daughter Madison and four year old son Braydon. Ms. Vollmar is the mentor teacher for Sammy Gerges from Maghagha, Egypt.
