Yuzhen Lin
Bio
Yuzhen (Jenny) Lin grew up in Shanghai, China. She received her bachelor's degree in Chinese language and literature from East China Normal University. Mrs. Lin has taught Chinese language to diverse groups of elementary and middle school students in both China and the U.S. for more than a decade. In the past five years, she has taught an immersion Chinese program at the International School in Portland. She is always excited to work with children in the immersion program and enjoys observing their progress. The goal of the program is to lead the students to become life long learners with worldview values to enhance them as global citizens. She loves the opportunity to share her enthusiasm in language, culture and teaching. This year Ms. Lin is the mentor teacher for Chen Xiaomei from Jiangxi, China.
