Steven Chuang
Bio
Wen Chang (Steven) Chuang is originally from Taoyuan, Taiwan. He received his master's degree in TESOL from the University of Pennsylvania in 2001. Mr. Chuang teaches Chinese AP and IB at Central High. In 2010 he brought the Asia Society Confucius Classroom to Central High. He was involved in the Summer Institute for Chinese Language sponsored by National Security Agency (2009 & 2010), directed the STARTALK Chinese Academy (2011) and in 2012 was the Chinese team leader for the PENN Excellence in Leadership Summer Institute and the trainer for the McDaniel Summer STARTALK Teacher Institute. Since 2009, his students have studied at the PENN Summer Chinese program with full scholarships. This year Mr. Chuang is the mentor teacher for Jiang Wei from Anhui, China.
