Main Profile for Wei Wei

Wei Wei comes from Gansu province. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Northwest Normal University. She will obtain her master's degree in subject teaching from Northwest Normal University in 2014. She has taught English at The High School attached to Northwest Normal University since 2001 where she has had experience teaching international students. Ms. Wei has taken part in various teaching contests, where she has gained experience in teaching wisdom and approaches, and gained insights about cooperating with colleagues. She lives with her husband and daughter. Ms. Wei enjoys reading and playing sports, including table tennis and badminton, and jogging. During her time in the program, Ms. Wei wants to spread Chinese culture and language. She is also eager to experience and learn the different teaching methodologies, management techniques, and teaching assessment models in U.S. schools. Ms. Wei was hosted by Roton Middle School in Norwalk, Connecticut.
